Water safety first
Protecting Your Water — One Test at a Time
Backflow isn’t just plumbing — it’s about protecting your water, your family, and your community. At EWMD, we provide residential and commercial backflow testing in Cobb County, Georgia, built on honesty, transparency, and 15+ years of experience.
Backflow can introduce dangerous contaminants into your drinking water if not tested and maintained. It’s not just a precaution — it’s federal law. And yet, many people don’t know what backflow is, how it works, or why it matters. That’s where we come in.

Mr. Backflow
Hi, I’m Algernon, a licensed backflow tester with over 15 years of experience serving residential and commercial clients in Cobb County. In 2010, I got my start thanks to a customer who trusted me without experience. Since then, my company has grown on that same trust — one test, one report, one happy customer at a time.
I care about doing things right, being honest, and helping you understand what backflow is — and why it matters. Because at the end of the day, it’s your water we’re protecting.
What happens if you skip it?
If your backflow preventer fails — or if you don’t test it — your water can become non-potable, leading to:
Contamination & disease
Damage to plumbing systems
Fire line complications or failures
It’s not worth the risk — and it’s against federal law to go untested.
